ReflectASeal 135

REFLECTASEAL-135 is an 82 % solids polyamide epoxy resin formulated for continuous submersion in freshwater. This products excellent flexibility and outdoor durability make it ideally suited for all types metal surfaces and retention ponds.

Application Areas:
REFLECTASEAL-135 is a self priming protective epoxy coating designed for adhering to almost any clean surface including, metals of all types, concrete, masonry, plaster, and asphalt. REFLECTASEAL-135 is used in commercial and industrial surroundings were chemical resistance is required.

Surfaces must be cleaned free of rust, mill scale, grease, oil, paint, algae, or any other film forming foreign material., Optimum performance and adhesion is obtained if the surface is dry and a profile is created.

The preparation procedures above are general guidelines.

Detailed preparation methods are available through SSPC at or 412-281-2331 or NACE at or 281-228-6400.

The mixing of parts A & B is very important!  REFLECTASEAL-135 has a mixing ratio of 3 parts “B” to 1 part “A”. Pour part A into Part B and agitate until the two components are thoroughly mixed for at least 1 minute per gallon. Allow idle activation time for at least 10 minutes. Thinner should only be added after activation is completed.

Thin with Xylene for air spray applications, thin up to 10% or 1/2 pint per gallon. For airless spray, roller or brush, thin up to 5% or 1/4 pint per gallon. Thinner should only be added after activation is completed.

Brush, 3/8” nap roller cover, or airless spray equipment may be used to apply REFLECTASEAL, LLC.-135.  Surface configuration, weather, or area surroundings will dictate application method.

To get dry film of:     Apply Sq.Ft./gal
6    mils                     200 sq. ft.

12   mils                     100 sq. ft

DO NOT apply product heavier than 100-sq. ft. per gallon per coat (16 wet mils.). For a heavier dry film, apply necessary number of coats. Use of thinner increases possibility of sag and reduces dry film thickness.

REFLECTASEAL-135 should be applied in well-ventilated areas.  Surfaces should be free of foreign matter.  DO NOT apply product near an open flame.

Clean Up:
Application equipment should be cleaned immediately with Lacquer Thinner.  Use White Vinegar to clean hands and skin.  Do not allow REFLECTASEAL-135 to remain on tools!  Once it sets and is cured, it is difficult to remove.

Flammability: Flammable during application will not support combustion when cured.
